In Mali’s District, population pressure and deforestation are leading to shortages of woodfuel and charcoal, which local people rely on for cooking and heating. The result is fuel poverty. Now, an innovative Project, AFOVERT Energy, promises to address fuel poverty in the district while delivering other key benefits to local communities and the wider world.
