A Promising Preventive for Juvenile Delinquency Reductions in rates of juvenile delinquency are unanticipated benefits of early childhood intervention programs aimed at academic achievement. in light of the nation’s weakening ability to support an array of social services, primary prevention programs may prove more cost-effective than expected.
