Cities are more than collections of buildings and SPARK has undertaken studies that explore how buildings, however large, relate to the urban realm. This is a logical extensión of ‘breaking the box?, as it aims to form a network of connections between different activities and so disrupt the banal monotony of generic urban developments. As with all explorations into the unfamiliar, this starts with map and diagrams to assess the terrain.
